its loud intro competes
with two chit-chatters

hurtling train
a million sundrops
on the dark lake

sea path amble…

our chit-chat interrupted

by a chaffinch’s song

frosty day...

in the stone church

the pianist’s bare arms

fidgety night

the roar from a car

kick-starts the day

this lucid dream...

each moment finds me

further from home

park lake—today

those boys with fishing nets

only linger as ghosts

this sad day...
