warm breeze all day...

the setting sun twinkles

on the frosted glass

drone of an alarm—

a plastic bag glides past

on a lazy wind

rotary clothes line...

hanging from each peg

a sunlit drop of rain

thru my window—each day

another yellow flower

on the unknown plant

sweeping the floor...

a dot of fluff suddenly 

sprouts eight legs  

high winds all day...

a fallen branch  

low evening light —

a piece of the willow’s bark

becomes a treecreeper  

again train delays...

in a field three horses

graze on lush grass 

fading light—

a dry leaf scoots across
the busy road

                 river bound...

                 trickling water glosses

                 the hillside rocks
