Were you irritated by that, Frank?
I somehow sense that in the words,
but then i doubt if you found that funny,

but there's something in it that one isn't really happy about,

Hi Devika: I wasn’t conscious of any irritation. On the contrary, I felt a certain curiosity and marvel and about the way silhouettes in water distorts what we assume to be reality. Maybe what we see is just one version of what is real – who knows?

All the best, Frank...

That is okay, Frank :)

About that 'real' ==

We Hindus in India are used to hearing -- All that you see is 'Maya' (Illusion)...the only reality is 'ME' (Krishna consciousness) :)

and its this quest for reality that keeps us going, perhaps :)

devika

Very striking. It's a case of seeing what's there and also looking beyond it as well.

One just sees the exagerated projections of the horses... silhouettes, twisting realism.

"twist the world" is a bold phrase, and you make it work.

Hi Frank,

What raises this to another level is that it isn't just about the horses.

This really is a marvellous haiku:

horses by the river…
silhouettes twist the world
this way & that

It has so much depth, it's wonderful wonderful wonderful!
