and they will unfurl and oh lucky you, and how beautiful, thanks for sharing it seems almost impossible that we'll get here, when snow banks are higher than buildings..but I see this as a touch of hope

Yes, I assume the daffodils were dropped and in the dim light not noticed when they fell.
